Actix expands Asia Pacific presence with new offices, staff in Japan, Australia and Singapore
Investment in upgraded offices and enhanced presence signals renewed success in Asia Pacific region
, 19 November 2008 -- London, 18 November 2008 - Actix, the recognized leader in mobile Network Status Management systems, today announced it is increasing investment and committing more resources to the Asia Pacific region, opening newly upgraded offices in Melbourne, Australia; Tokyo and Japan; Singapore to support regional customers more closely. The investment in local presence is underpinned by the hiring of a large number of additional local staff.
"Asia Pacific is an enormously dynamic market, with very advanced services and savvy customers. Actix has already had a lot of success helping customers in this region, and now our new enterprise grade Network Status Management (NSM) systems are really taking flight, which means we need to be closer to the customer than ever before. We are committing an enhanced level of resources to make that possible," said Alex Hawker, Actix CEO.
"Actix is now delivering and supporting NSM systems all across the globe, and they are huge systems by any standards - as an example, just one single Actix One NSM system is currently processing more than 1 Terabyte of network data per day, supporting the workflow of several hundred users. Actix is the only company on the planet that has demonstrated a proven system that can support that kind of scale and our experience and proven track record delivering these systems differentiates Actix enormously. This enhanced investment in Asia Pacific is the first of several announcements we will be making in the near future to support these exciting new developments," he continued
Actix NSM systems, which are underpinned by the Actix One framework, allow a much more systematic, productive and cost effective approach to managing mobile network status. Actix One NSM systems are designed to allow scalable access to dozens of data sources, distributing network data across the web to dozens of different types of users for more timely and more accurate analysis. Known in the industry as the 'Google of network data', Actix One slashes the time need for everyday tasks and boosts productivity by prioritizing actions more effectively.
