The installation of EchoStream for AIX at the Malaysia-based DKSH Holdings adds another multinational customer to Vision's presence in the AIX market. With nearly seven billion (USD) in revenue and more than 21,000 employees, DKSH Holdings (KUL: DKSH), a market expansion services company, recently implemented Vision Solutions' EchoStream for AIX at its Malaysian data center, which was established to process their global business transactions. Known as the organization's Corporate Shared Services Centre (CSSC), the Kuala Lumpur operation is setting new industry standards for market information access and utilizes an SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution serving business units catering to local and multi-national business partners. Providing these services requires the continuous availability of massive amounts of business data. In the event of data loss or corruption, the CSSC must be able to perform a fast, easy recovery to resume operations. It was with these requirements in mind that DKSH began its search for an effective data protection and recovery solution.
