Expanded TOEFL Test Information Available for Korean Students
PRINCETON, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE), 2 May 2007 -- ETS announced today the availability of a new website dedicated to information on TOEFL testing in Korea, as part of its commitment to provide important TOEFL testing information to Korean test-takers. Through this new site, http://korea.etsasiapac.org, test-takers will have access to plans for future TOEFL paper-based test administrations, registration procedures, frequently asked questions for the internet-based TOEFL and paper-based TOEFL, as well as recent press releases.
In response to the high demand for the TOEFL test in Korea, ETS announced to the media last week several solutions to help ensure that everyone in Korea who wishes to take the test can do so, including the creation of 70,000 additional testing appointments to be made available throughout the remainder of this year.
"I am pleased to announce this new website as a means for providing regular communication to TOEFL test-takers in Korea," says Paul A. Ramsey, Senior Vice President of the Global Division at ETS. "This is just one of step ETS has made to improve the situation in Korea."
