Singapore, 29 August 2007 -- Shaw Organisation is proud to present two of the most anticipated movies in the later part of year 2007 in Singapore: BALLS OF FURY and RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION, which star the cast of the wildly popular NBC Drama Series “HEROES”, Masi Oka and Ali Larter. Masi Oka made a guest appearance in the upcoming action comedy, BALLS OF FURY as a bathroom attendant, Jeff. His surprise appearance in the latest promotional trailer of the movie has generated anticipation and active discussions about him in the world wide web forums. Masi Oka is starring in “HEROES” as Hiro Nakamura, a Japanese office worker who can bend the space-time continuum. Ali Larter starred in the latest Resident Evil: Extinction, the all-out action and horror third and final film in the $100 million Resident Evil trilogy. She plays Claire Redfield character who is the leader of convoy making its way across the Nevada desert, in search of the remaining uninfected survivors. Ali Larter currently stars in HEROES as Niki Sanders, a single mother who struggles to support her exceptionally gifted young son's private school education and whose mirror image has a secret. To escalate the wild craze of the “HEROES” further, the “HEROES” cast team will be coming down to Singapore on Aug 31st at Vivo City, as part of their HEROES WORLD TOUR as part of their promotional campaign for their international premiere. Both Ali Larter and Masi Oka will be part of the world tour team. About the movie Balls Of Fury: This huge comedy with tiny balls serves up the secret world (for the first time on-screen) of the unsanctioned, underground, and unhinged world of extreme Ping-Pong where the competition is brutal and the stakes are deadly. Starring as a Down-and-out former professional Ping-Pong phenom Randy Daytona (Dan Fogler), FBI's Most Wanted, arch-fiend Feng (Christopher Walken), the spiritual guidance of blind Ping-Pong sage and restaurateur Wong James Hong) and Master Wong's wildly sexy niece Maggie (Maggie Q). With its wacky scene set and guest appearance by Masi Oka, the early publicity of the movie has already generated much anticipation and discussion prior the opening of the movie. The movie will opens in Singapore, September 27, 2007. About the movie Resident Evil: Extinction Resident Evil: Extinction is the final installment of the zombie hits, based on the wildly popular game, Resident Evil. The experimental T-Virus, concocted by the Umbrella Corporation, has been unleashed on the world, transforming the population into a scourge of shambling zombies with a taste for flesh. Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr) and L.J. (Mike Epps), along with new survivors Claire (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke) and Nurse Betty (Ashanti), have gathered a group of survivors and taken to the road … traversing the empty desert highways in an armored convoy, towards Alaska, their last hope for refuge. Alice (Milla Jovovich) has been shadowing the convoy, standing by to protect them, hoping to somehow usher them to safety, and meantime, searching for the corporation that genetically altered her genes to shut them down forever.
