L&O’s 135th Anniversary celebrations unveiled in China
Hong Kong, 28 April 2009 -- The first celebrations of Leigh & Orange’s 135th Anniversary were recently unveiled in Shanghai and Beijing. Over one hundred guests shared this important moment with L&O’s management in China.
‘This year marks the 135th anniversary of Leigh & Orange – an architectural practice known for our tradition to pursue quality architecture – and our commitment to our core values of Integrity, Humanity, Creativity and Sustainability,’ said Ms. Lucy Tsui, a Principal Director of Leigh & Orange.
Ms. Lucy Tsui further remarked, ‘Having entered Mainland China in the late 1980s, and with China now in the world spotlight, we continue our commitment to create buildings and places which become the pride of our clients, collaborators and Chinese society.’
The journey from a Hong Kong architectural firm to a leading international architectural practice has been filled with as many challenges as rewards. Of great satisfaction over the past 135 years are their iconic buildings in Asia and the Middle East which have provided pleasure to their users, enriched the public realm and won numerous awards.
L&O offices are now established in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Fuzhou, Bangkok, Bahrain, Doha and Dubai.
