Mama Childcare: The nurturing environment your child needs

Switzerland, 17 December 2017 -- Mama Childcare is a dedicated pre-kindergarten facility where children between 3 months old and 5.5 years old can learn about all subjects of high interest in the Swiss school programme.

Mama Childcare is one of the most professional pre-kindergarten facilities in Zug, Switzerland. With plenty of experience in child care and child development, the facility is able to deliver measurable results in terms of child development. Focused on providing a nurturing environment for pre-kindergarten children, the staff at Mama Childcare, the most popular pre-school in Zug, is focused on replicating the care and trust offered by mothers, and home environments, while improving the learning capacities children have even at a very young age. The entire educational process is divided into several courses and interests, but all revolve around the “Learning through Play” concept.

With an increased accent on developing communication in children of young age, Mama Childcare brings innovative methods of developing the German language and English language in each group of children. Moreover, the courses are thought by native speakers, which increases the quality of the skills acquired while attending the courses. The math and science course is also held in a playful manner, by experimenting outdoors and exercising children’s knowledge and comprehension of colours and shapes, substance interaction and nature.

At the same day care in Zug, children learn more about technology, society and normal interaction between people, in the “Understanding the World and Experiments” course. Experimenting with water soil and other natural elements will increase children’s interest in nature, open their appetite for learning, in the same playful manner. The premises of the pre-kindergarten facility are vast, children being able to wander freely (under the vigilant eye of their teachers), play and learn new notions in the large and beautifully arranged garden.

Children starting with the toddler-age group will learn about music and arts at this school in Zug because regardless of their age, they will take part in short and entertaining music and art classes. Their taste for finer arts like theatre will also be challenged and developed because even at a very young age, children will take part in such activities.
Since not all children have the same learning abilities, division into age groups allows teachers to create a more efficient approach for each of them. The age groups are divided as it follows:

• Babies – the maximum number of children in the baby group is seven since each infant needs increased levels of attention and care from their caregivers. Parents can bring their infants here starting with the age of three months.

• Toddlers – the toddler groups can also have a maximum number of seven children, due to similar reasons.

• Minis – Children between 2 and 3 years old will enjoy a truly challenging and nurturing environment, also in groups of maximum ten children.

• Midis – Kita in Zug also provides the same care and attention to children aged three. In these groups they will learn how to properly interact and play with each other and they will learn all the entertaining and challenging subjects described above, in an age-appropriate format.

• Maxis - are children between 4 and 5 and a half years old, and the curriculum for this particular group follows the Swiss learning standard.
