OAFL and Canada's Northwind Launch First Football Show on Internet as New Season Gets Underway
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (MARKET WIRE), 13 May 2008 -- Northwind and the Ontario Australian Rules Football League ("OAFL") today launch it first internet based television football show featuring game reviews of the League's first round of matches along with segments on the Canadian National Australian Rules Football team, "Northwind". The football show, called "the Footy Feast" hosted by Lachie McDonald can be viewed at the league's website http://www.ontariofooty.com. This week's show, believed to be the first of its kind outside Australia, featured Canada's "Northwind" and its build up as the team readies itself to competed in the International Football Cup to be held this August in Melbourne, Australia.
