Points Required for a PR to Australia

India, 9 November 2018 -- The Australian immigration authority works on points. The PR points are seized through, age, experience, education, language ability, and other factors. The Australia Point System can be grabbed having good skills etc.

Here is the brief about the Australian immigration point system

Age- Australia is always looking for talented youngsters with innovative minds. The country is inviting workers who are ready to experiment with new things. The applicants within an age group of 25-32 get 30 points which are the highest score that an applicant can score for the age group.

English Language Eligibility- It's very important to get the English language eligibility test, to be eligible to migrate to Australia. English is the primary language spoken in the country. Therefore it is mandatory to have good communication skills before applying for an Australia PR visa. Australia accepts both IETLS and PTE, for IELTS applicant has to score a minimum of 7 bands in each module of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Similarly, for PTE, you need to score 65 marks out of 100 to get 10 points towards your immigration score.

Work Experience- The applicant can grab points on the year of experience they are having in the occupation listed in demand list. The Australia point for the applicant possess 8 years of experience claims the highest score of 20 points, 15 points for 5 years of experience so on and so forth.

Education- This is also a very important factor while looking forward to Australia skilled immigration 20 points are given to the aspiring migrants with Doctorate degree while 15 points are given to the graduates, whereas diploma holders and less educated applicants get only 10 points.

Other Factors which can help increase the Australian immigration score are

Australian study requirement- The applicant who possesses one or more degree is awarded to get 5 marks.

If a migrant agrees to live and study in regional parts of Australia he/she gets 5 points.

Can get additional 5 points for partner skills.

If you are applying for Skilled regional visa 489 you can get 10 points towards your total immigration score.
