The private sector has committed $11 billion of inward investment specifically to fund healthcare and orphancare in India. An Ordinance will be signed this month providing a guarantee from the Government of India. The funds will be released to Prosperity Studios to ramp up the Program within 30 days. The 2-year Program will deliver: -- 8.1 million treatments for Indians suffering with HIV/AIDS -- 35 Healthy Living Centers to coordinate treatments, therapists and caregivers -- 470 million books in 17 languages for the children and youth -- 147,600 wind up laptops for the teachers -- 73,791 caregivers trained in supporting the sick in their communities -- 100 Children's Villages providing safe accommodation for 6,000 orphans each (phase 1) Prosperity Studios has appointed V. Pourouchothamane, Chairman, Sri Vigneswara Trust. Chennai, India to act as Program Director for The President's Legacy - Hope on INDIA Program. He will be responsible for organizing the 35 regional hubs and operations. An International Advisory Board is being formed that will include global leaders from UK, US, Africa, India and China.
