Singapore startup turns online opinions into marketing and business insights
Combines advanced data mining with artificial intelligence to discover critical insights for strategic decision-making from millions of user-generated content
Singapore, 21 January 2009 -- JamiQ Private Limited today announced the launch of JamiQ Insights, a customized opinion mining and sentiment analysis service that creates critical marketing and business insights from the millions of opinions online.
JamiQ uses advanced data mining techniques to mine millions of web sites extracting the most significant opinions (not just keywords) on brands, products, and services. These opinions are then processed for sentiment through JamiQ’s custom-built natural language processing technology.
Going beyond sentiment analysis, JamiQ is able to track deeper issues and breakdown product features giving in-depth insights and trends that cannot be observed on the surface. JamiQ also extracts influence ratings as well as market breakdown of the opinions creating multi-dimensional data and comparative insights.
The insights JamiQ produces allows corporations to quickly discover:
• What is being said about my products;
• Which features of my product are most loved or hated;
• Who are my greatest fans and critics;
• Which markets love my brands and which are my competitors strong in;
• Do the influential people talk about me;
• Am I missing a potential groundswell of complaints;
“The social media is fast becoming the priority of many digital marketing campaigns as well as a critical feedback mechanism for corporations to understand their customers needs,” said Benjamin Koe, Co-Founder & CEO, JamiQ.
“The ability to mine millions of user-generated opinions across a multitude of social media platforms and analyzing their sentiment with artificial intelligence gives corporations unique insights that were once humanly impossible to observe,” said Benjamin.
“Our custom-built technology is designed to read and analyze millions of opinions from all over the Web, saving precious man-hours and utilising machines to perform the tedious task of data mining, said Lee JiaYi, Co-Founder & CTO, JamiQ.
JamiQ Insights have been used by top public relations, consumer electronics, and even government organizations to derive critical insights from millions of online opinions for strategic planning, and decision-making.
