TNZ Selects TynTec For High-Quality SMS
, 20 May 2008 -- Messaging solutions provider integrates TynTec SMS into its multi channel messaging platform for businesses
Mobile messaging operator TynTec (http://www.tyntec.com) today announces that it has signed a deal with TNZ Group Ltd (http://www.tnz.co.nz), New Zealand’s largest messaging solutions provider, to supply the company with high-quality SMS transmission. Under the deal, TynTec’s unique enterprise quality SMS will be integrated into TNZ’s overall suite of messaging solutions for business communications, alongside fax and email.
TynTec can offer a high level of quality and measurability in SMS thanks to its portfolio of connections into the deep-level mobile network (SS7). This operator-level connectivity means that the company can offer unique delivery guarantees and visibility in the SMS transmission process. TNZ will be taking advantage of this high level of quality by using TynTec’s feature-rich SMS services with key elements such as GSM Return Codes and Buffered Notifications.
Founded in 2001 and based in Auckland, New Zealand, TNZ offers global clients integrated telecommunications and internet messaging services for business communications. The company brings together SMS, fax, email and voice communications into a single integrated platform to allow for truly unified messaging capabilities.
Brett Dennerly, TNZ Group Ltd, said: “TynTec is able to offer us a unique combination of things – unbeatable quality of SMS service at a competitive price. We want to offer our clients the very best service and the best price and, by working with TynTec for our SMS capabilities, we’re able to do that effectively.”
Michael Kowalzik, CEO of TynTec, said: “TNZ have a unique and powerful offer to the marketplace, by offering a broad ranging communications solution they can answer a significant corporate need. By bringing TynTec into their messaging suite they can be sure that the SMS aspect of their service will lead in quality, speed of delivery and measurability over the delivery process.”
