txtNation powers a mobile picture campaign of one of the world's greatest wine brands.
, 5 August 2008 -- txtNation reported this summer that they we will be working with Blossom Hill to help launch their two new and exciting mobile phone SMS competitions. Pulse Group who are promoting the Blossom Hill wine promotions are using the mobile solutions provider.
The competition began in June as part of the build up to the tennis tournament at Wimbledon. Blossom Hill is the official wine supplier to The Championships, Wimbledon. There will be 10 weekly prize draws where one lucky person will win one of the Garden Party prizes each week. One thousand pubs in the UK will be promoting the MMS picture messaging competition and will have posters, coasters and fridge vinyl’s with entry information alongside a supporting point of sale visibility kit for the activity.
Consumers are to take photos of themselves enjoying Blossom Hill wine with friends to be able to enter into the prize draw, in which people will win one of the 10 Garden party kit prizes within their local pub. All they have to do is simply take a photo of themselves and send it in with the word ‘SUMMER’ to 60999. For the other competition they could simply text in their name, address and D.O.B along with the word 'BLOSSOM' to 60999 for the chance to win fantastic prizes.
Blossom Hill purchased mFUSION and mBILL from txtNation enabling them to ensure that their campaigns were set up successfully and delivered perfectly, right on schedule. txtNation created the website that Blossom Hill is using to host the picture competition.
Blossom Hill has stated that all texts will be charged at the standard rate with no extra costs, ensuring the maximum amount of fuss free entries from all their customers.
txtNation’s Geoff Goodall commented: “Pulse Group have been very professional and knew what they wanted, with all the details and specifics provided we were able to deliver the solution in plenty of time to go live. The results from the campaigns have been fantastic.”
